In addition, students are given the opportunity to enjoy arts and crafts, physical education, music, STEM, home-economics, service learning and visits to the library. We also believe that children need to be given more time for play which is why we are offer two recesses per day at Cohutta Arrows for elementary students.  This time is crucial for the development of children, allowing students to develop better social communication skills, promote physical activity, boosts cognitive function, improves focus, fosters conflict resolution, encourages creativity through unstructured play and improves overall health.

Middle school is a unique time in a child's development. These years are crucial when it comes to a child's identity in Christ and self-worth. Our vision at Cohutta Arrows is to raise a generation of children who understand their kingdom identity and operate in academic excellence in order to change the culture around them without the culture changing them. Therefore, we do not use secular state standards or any curriculum that is a counterfeit to the Word of God. Our curriculum, Abeka, has a Biblical world-view in all subject areas: english-language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and Bible. In addition to their core subjects, students receive other extra-curricular opportunities and service learning. Our Core Values involve serving the Kingdom, honoring God and others, nurturing purpose and callings, preparing excellence, individuality and uniqueness, networking within the kingdom, responsibility and obedience.

At Cohutta Arrows Kingdom Academy, we believe ALL education is discipleship. Children were NOT created by God to be a number or a standardized test score. The ultimate goal for our graduates is for our students to know who they are in Christ, equipped to operate in this broken world making an impact on the Kingdom of God by sharing the gospel and love of Jesus Christ no matter what mountain the Lord leads them to conquer. High school students, grades 9-12, do have to acquire the appropriate number of credits required by the state of Georgia and Abeka. These credits include all core subjects and Bible. Our students also have the opportunity to explore other elective options such as physical education, speech & communication, Spanish, finance & economics, keyboarding & technology and service & ministry. Our high school program does include college and career advisement, as well as dual enrollment. By educating the whole child, Cohutta Arrows' students will graduate confident and rooted in the Word of God. We know they will live out their God-ordained calling and purpose.

Worship-Bible & Prayer

keep first things first

A non-negotiable at Cohutta Arrows is worship and prayer. We desire to lead by example, as Jesus led with grace and Truth. Our culture is centered around an environment of keeping first things first. This means we begin every morning with prayer and worship. In every decision, we pray first. In every situation, we give Him gratitude and our worship. Our students receive a Bible lesson during Bible class everyday. We "seek first the Kingdom" every morning.

Student Life

Running CLub

Cohutta Arrows running club practices on Monday and Friday mornings. These students participate in local 5K races. "Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint". Isaiah 40:31

worship team

Our student-led worship team provides LIVE worship on the last Friday of every month! We encourage and desire to nurture the gifts, talents and abilities the Lord placed in each one of our students. We desire for them to all use these gifts to glorify Jesus! "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord". Psalm 150:6
